International Soccer (Commodore) (Commodore 64)
The best game yet for the Commodore 64 and an absolute must.
Tank Battle (Temptation) (TI99/4A)
Tank Battle is enjoyable to play with the added incentive of trying to beat my previous best in the Hi-Score charts.
Bug Diver (Galactic) (Dragon 32)
An interesting variation on a theme but would have been more successful with better controls and stimulating sound effects.
Kong (Ocean) (Spectrum 48K)
The game is fairly close to the arcade game, strikes just about the right balance in difficulty, and has some useful extras.
Aquaplane (Quicksilva) (Spectrum 48K)
This is graphically very realistic as the boat will start to plane as it gathers speed. However, I did find the game very slow to play and found it was fairly easy to reach the fourth phase.
Super Cobra (Parker Brothers) (Atari VGC)
An interesting game to start with - although it became a bit boring after a while as it does not get progressively more difficult with each new mission.
Salloon Sally (Psion) (BBC Model B)
Crushing all four cowboys at once will earn bonus points and I found that it was possible to trap the odd cowboy by manoeuvring tables round him thus leaving one less nasty to contend with.
Arcadia (Imagine) (Commodore 64)
Spectrum Arcadia is one of Imagine's best games whereas the Commodore 64 version is little more than a second rate imitation.
Radar Rat Race (Commodore) (Commodore 64)
Apart from the sound and few other irritating aspects, the game is quite exciting and amusing to play.
Bengo (Mr. Micro) (Commodore Vic 20)
One of the better games for the unexpanded Vic-20.
Transistor's Revenge (Softspot) (BBC Model B)
The best BBC game of this year (so far)...!
S.A.S. (Peaksoft) (Dragon 32)
The game promised startling hi-res graphics... The only startling thing about the graphics is their low quality.
Cylon Attack (A 'n F) (BBC Model B)
The game offers two different key layouts and a joystick option... The ship's instruments are clearly shown and highly colourful.
Robot Tank (Activision) (Atari 2600)
Good graphics but the game doesn't measure up to the addiction generated by the original Atari version.
Popeye (Parker Brothers) (Coleco Vision Games System)
The cutest game for Colecovision so far.
Bedlam (Milton Bradley) (Vectrex)
This is not one of the better games for the Vectrex. I would recommend Web Wars or Fortress Of Narzod in preference to Bedlam any day of the week.
Venture (CBS Electronics) (Coleco Vision Games System)
A thoroughly absorbing game.
Miner 2049:er (Tigervision) (Atari 2600)
One of the better climbing games for the Atari VCS.
