Elvira 2 (Flair)
One of the best C64 games ever...! My only moan is the amount of disks, and the slow access time of the drive.
Total Recall (The Hit Squad)
Get ready for the ride of your life. There's nothing new in the design of the game, indeed two old faves are present: the platform blaster and the 'screech around' car chase.
Narco Police (GBH)
I enjoy nothing more than a bit of computerised violence, and Narco Police delivers it in spades. At a budget price tag, it's definitely worth purchasing.
Near-perfect presentation... A variety of kickin' tunes... Easy to tell this was programmed especially to make best use of the C64.
Flimbo's Quest (Kixx)
The backdrops are very detailed, yet extremely colourful, and come complete with a clever parallax effect.
Narc (The Hit Squad)
Everyone loves a good blast, but Narc has all the excitement and charm of a used teabag.
Super Monaco Grand Prix (Kixx)
Save your dosh, this game's the pits! Lousy graphics, non-existent options and gameplay so easy you'll crash through sheer boredom.
Combat Pack #3 (Zeppelin Games)
Well worth the measly price tag.
Psycho's Soccer Selection (Ubisoft)
When you can buy both the best two C64 soccer sims on budget, the temptation to splash out up to £20 on four far inferior footy games is about as strong as Birmingham City's defence.
Big Game Fishing (Simulmondo)
It does get repetitive, but the challenge of making enough money to travel to deeper waters (for the really big fish) keeps you hooked.
1000 Miglia Vol. 1: 1927-1933 (Simulmondo)
A brave attempt at a seldom-tried angle, and not a bad game in its own right. Presentation is excellent, but it gets a little too samey too quickly to be a true classic.
The Cool Croc Twins (Arcade Masters)
With 60 tough levels, containing lots of new features to discover, there's plenty to keep you playing. Definitely one to snap up.
International Ice Hockey (Zeppelin Games)
The graphics are blocky and dated, but functional. However, the game's just too tricky for first-play acceptability.
