Fantasy World Dizzy (Codemasters)
The Dizzy games have earned themselves quite a cult following, and Dizzy III is set to be another success.
Footballer Of The Year II (Gremlin)
Nothing ultra special to offer, except perhaps new questions for the football boffins. A bit fourth division quality if you ask me.
Galaxy Force 2 (Activision)
A good conversion of one of the best arcade machines around.
Ghostbusters 2 (Activision)
Ghostbusters II will, of course, sell because of its name... The presentation makes it look really slick but there is a big gap in the playability department.
Hard Drivin' (Tengen)
This is an instant hit with me and will keep me hooked for ages.
Hyper Sports (The Hit Squad)
Hyper Sports is a classic Spectrum game. Definitely one for the collection.
Meganova: The Weapon (Alternative)
A cheap alternative to a full price shoot 'em up. You won't be playing it for long.
Moonwalker (US Gold/Emerald)
A fun game, even if it does resemble Pacman a lot. It's the terrible multi-load that spoils it.
Mutant Fortress (Players Premier)
Will provide a challenge to even the best players out there...! Players Premier have got themselves another winner.
The Ninja Warriors (Virgin Games)
Ninja Warriors is a good arcade conversion, but then the original did not really have anything new to offer the punters.
Postman Pat (Alternative)
A fun game for a while, but once you've completed all the tasks the novelty soon wears off.
Pro Mountain Bike Simulator (Alternative)
Pro Mountain Bike Simulator may not have the most imaginative title ever, but the game is good fun and well worth spending some time on.
Rampage (The Hit Squad)
I love Rampage. The graphics are nicely defined and colour isn't too bad. Bashing and crushing the buildings is the best bit though.
Saint And Greavsie (Grandslam)
If you are a big fan you may get some play out of it, otherwise leave it alone.
Shark (Players Premier)
A good, fun game and will provide all shoot 'em up fans with a reasonable challenge.
Spitfire isn't the least bit original, but there is some playability in zooming about shooting lots of big ships, try it out.
Sporting Triangles (CDS)
For the avid sports fan only, anyone else will soon find it boring.
Stir Crazy Featuring Bobo (Infogrames)
The strange thing about this game is that even if you don't do well and complete a stage, you go on to the next anyway. This takes away any surprises the game might have had in store. Downright daft
Stunt Car Racer (Micro-Style)
A fun game which you can play for hours without getting fed up with.
War Machine (Players Premier)
War Machine may not be original, but it provides a cheap challenge for any arcade adventure freak.
