Bouncer ======= Introduction ------------ Bounce Arthur around the pyramid of cubes, changing the colour of the top surface of each cube as he lands on it. When all the curbes have changed colour you will receive a bonus and be given a new pyramid to change. The game starts on level one, and each time you successfully complete four pyramids you will move up to the next level. At level one, landing on a cube once will change it to the target colour, but at level two you will have to land on each cube twice. At level three you should try to bounce once only on each cube; a second bounce will restore it to its original colour, and leave you where you started. Other Inhabitants ----------------- While Arthur is trying to land on all the cubes, a variety of characters will also be bouncing around, some trying to make life more difficult, some trying to be useful. Red Ball ... Any contract with this will kill Arthur Blue Ball ... Contact with this will kill Arthur. When a Blue Ball reaches the bottom of the pyramid, it will turn into Sid Snake. Green Ball ... Contact with this will freeze all mean characters for a while Sid Snake ... Sid Snake will always pursue Arthur, and contact will be lethal! But Sid can be tricked into falling over the edge of the pyramid if Arthur escapes by jumping on to one of the magic lifts Creepy Crab ... Contact with Creepy Crabs will kill Arthur Sideways Ram ... Contact with Sideways Sam will kill Arthur Devious Dan ... Devious Dan bounces around changing the cubes back to their original colour. You can stop him by bouncing on him. Magic Lift ... Jumping on to one of these magic lifts will transport you to the top of the pyramid. If the lift is at the top, you can still jump on to it to avoid Sid Snake. Each lift can be used only once. Game Controls ------------- CTRL - Up/Left, } - Up/Right, ? - Down/Left, Z - Down/Right COPY/DELETE - Pause/Restart Game, Q/S - Sound Off/On Score ----- Changing a cube to the target colour ... 25 points Jumping on the Green Ball ... 100 points Jumping on Dan ... 300 points Tricking Sid into jumping over the edge ... 500 points Bonus points will be awarded after each round; at the end of every four rounds you will go on to the next level. Arthur has three lives to being with, and receives a bonus life for every 10,000 points scored. Loading ------- Cassette: CHAIN"BOUNCER (RETURN) Disc: Hold down SHIFT and tap the BREAK key. The game will start as soon as loading is complete. The disc can be used in drive 0 of either 40 or 80 track drives.
