Pacmania (Grandslam) (Commodore 64/128)
Oodles and oodles of larkabout fun.
Roy Of The Rovers (Gremlin) (Commodore 64/128)
I've never seen a two-sectioned game as bad as this before! The adventure section is pathetic, with a useless menu system that hardly seems to fit the game at all.
Artura (Gremlin) (Commodore 64/128)
I've seen some really mediocre games in my time but Artura doesn't even ran as one of them!
Operation Wolf (Ocean) (Commodore 64/128)
A brilliant conversion with tons of atmosphere and playability.
Terrorpods (Melbourne House) (Commodore 64/128)
Glossy packaging hiding an awful game.
Trivial Pursuit: A New Beginning (Domark) (Commodore 64)
A cleverly revamped version of Trivial Pursuit. Probably not worth buying if you've got the original, though.
Star Trek: The Rebel Universe (Firebird) (Commodore 64)
Very well presented - but the basic strategy/adventure gameplay will appeal much more to fans of the Star Trek series than to arcade fans.
Serve And Volley (Accolade/Electronic Arts) (Commodore 64)
An unusual tennis simulation that doesn't quite hit the mark. Not one of Accolade's best.
By Fair Means Or Foul (Superior) (Commodore 64)
A competent boxing sim let down by badly-designed graphics and basic sound.
Fast Break (Accolade/Electronic Arts) (Commodore 64)
A neat little basketball sim but only really worth it if you've got two players.
Caveman Ugh-Lympics (Electronic Arts) (Commodore 64/128)
The sprites have excellent cartoon touches, but the abysmal multi-loading system is a real turn off.
Game Over 2 (Dinamic) (Commodore 64/128)
A nice package, but the game itself hasn't got anything outstanding going for it.
Gary Lineker's Super Skills (Gremlin) (Commodore 64/128)
The multiple player option boosts the enjoyment, but there are much more interesting things for a crowd of people to be doing - playing football in the park for example.
Risk (Leisure Genius) (Commodore 64)
Not a bad rendition of the board game. The complex rules may be confusing at first: but then, who said a board game was easy?
Chrono Quest (Psygnosis) (Amiga 500)
One of the best icon-driven adventures I've come across and no mean treat for yer average homicidal troll...!
Mars Saga (Electronic Arts) (Amiga 500)
An RPG that's just a little bit different!
Lancelot (Level 9) (Amiga 500)
Well designed and unusually constructed, it really makes you feel as if you're riding around in a medieval world - and you get some dead atmospheric graphics to boot.
Speedball (Imageworks) (Amiga 500)
The best future sport we've seen on the Amiga.
Pacmania (Grandslam) (Amiga 500)
An extremely accurate and incredibly playable conversion.
Garfield: Big, Fat, Hairy Deal (The Edge) (Amiga 500)
A beautifully illustrated but slightly disappointing arcade adventure.
Battle Chess (Electronic Arts) (Amiga 500)
An astounding piece of entertainment software and a cracking good chess game to boot.
P. O. W. (Actionware) (Amiga 500)
It's one of those games that you can get into straight away - blasting away at everything that moves - and it's great for getting rid of the day's tension.
Capone (Actionware) (Amiga 500)
A good, if limited, target-shooting game... Quite a few different scenarios.
Bombuzal (Imageworks) (Amiga 500)
One of the cutest, cuddliest puzzle games ever.
Netherworld (Hewson) (Amiga 500)
A strange collect and shoot-'em-up game which will appeal to those who give it a chance.
Joan Of Arc (Rainbow Arts/Go) (Amiga 500)
The most compelling arcade-strategy game so far on the Amiga.
