Tex-Bounce (Funnelweb Farm) (TI99/4A)
An absorbing game which doesn't rely on annihilation for its entertainment.
Bug Eyes (Icon) (Acorn Electron)
A playable but unexciting game... The graphics are good but they don't hold any surprises.
Drain Mania (Icon) (Acorn Electron)
It's colourful, the animation is good and the screens are well presented... Some appeal to the arcade freak, but for a short time only I'm afraid.
Flight Path 737 (Anirog) (MSX)
This is a responsive simulator that requires practice and gives scope for the experienced.
Spy Hunter (US Gold) (Spectrum 48K)
The speed of graphics is impressive: at top speed, the winding road swiftly passes a variety
of terrains... The chase can transfer to water too.
Zapp (Hewson) (Amstrad CPC464)
Zapp has good points and bad... The monitor gives some excellent debugging options.
Hunchback 2 (Ocean) (Amstrad CPC464)
An excellent game, involving an increasing degree of challenge, that should provide you with hours of fun.
Daley Thompson's Decathlon (Ocean) (Amstrad CPC464)
Frantically waggling a joystick from side to side doesn't appeal to me; in fact it made me feel rather silly.
Kong Strikes Back (Ocean) (Amstrad CPC464)
A very playable and enjoyable game, which kept me interested for hours.
Fistful Of Fun (Alligata) (Commodore 64)
I've got to say that Fistful Of Fun is a knockout!
Cassette 50 (Cascade) (Commodore 64)
It's mostly rubbish, but there are one or two worth playing.
Intermediate Astrology (Scisoft) (Spectrum 48K)
Graphics are uninspired, and are nowhere near the standard of current games; the linked menu structure is also cumbersome and returns to
strange place after a choice.
Arnhem (Cases) (Spectrum 48K)
Not for arcade freaks, or even first-time wargamers in view of the confusions, but for addicts another useful addition.
Talladega (Audiogenic) (Commodore 64)
A good game with average graphics... I've decided I much prefer stock car driving to normal car racing.
Entombed (Ultimate) (Commodore 64)
Such nice graphics - shame about the game.
Forecaster (Collins) (Commodore 64)
The package is excellent... I forecast good sales.
The Bulge (Argus Press) (MSX)
One of the best wargames I have ever tried... Has heightened my appreciation of the VE-Day celebrations.
