I just couldn't get the hang of this... To avoid enemy fire, you shoot yourself in the tail! The game moves too fast for lightgun control to be effective.
American Turbo King (Virgin Mastertronic)
Loads of 'different' courses to race over but they're all essentially the same; just with different colours and the obstacles in a more difficult order.
Well programmed and has some nice graphical touches... But there isn't enough depth or atmosphere to keep your interest for much longer than a few hours.
An old concept, but fun when played against another human opponent.
A novel idea, but whichever way you look at this, it's a load of old balls.
Psycho Hopper (Mastertronic Plus)
Bouncing on a space hopper is a novel way to travel, but it turns out to be the most irritating form of transport since British Rail!
A mega-cute maze game that combines elements of Gauntlet, Skweek and Marble Madness hilariously to create a thoroughly enjoyable and very addictive game.
One of the better beat-'em-ups... Great fun... A really excellent game for combat fans.
