SingStar Legends

The PS2 is still hanging on by a small thread as it enters its ninth year of North American availability. Nevertheless, Sony will continue their promise of support for the system till year ten, and while the release of three more brand new SingStar game may not be the God Of War 3 that many who refuse to upgrade would hope for, it still is new product to the aging console.

  1. Aretha Franklin: Respect
  2. Barry White: You're The First, The Last, My Everything
  3. Black Sabbath: Paranoid
  4. Blur: Parklife
  5. David Bowie: Life On Mars?
  6. Depeche Mode: Enjoy The Silence
  7. Dusty Springfield: Son Of A Preacher Man
  8. Ella Fitzgerald and Louis Armstrong: Let's Call The Whole Thing Off
  9. Elton John: Rocket Man
  10. Elvis Presley: Blue Suede Shoes
  11. Jackie Wilson: Reet Petite
  12. The Jackson 5: I Want You Back
  13. John Lennon: Imagine
  14. Johnny Cash: Ring Of Fire
  15. Lynyrd Skynyrd: Sweet Home Alabama
  16. Madonna: Papa Don't Preach
  17. Marvin Gaye: I Heard It Through The Grapevine
  18. The Monkees: Daydream Believer
  19. Nirvana: Smells Like Teen Spirit
  20. Patsy Cline: Crazy
  21. Pet Shop Boys: Always On My Mind
  22. The Police: Roxanne
  23. The Righteous Brothers: Unchained Melody
  24. The Rolling Stones: Sympathy For The Devil
  25. Roxy Music: Love Is The Drug
  26. Sam Cooke: Wonderful World
  27. The Smiths: This Charming Man
  28. Tina Turner: What's Love Got To Do With It?
  29. U2: Vertigo
  30. Whitney Houston: Greatest Love Of All

SingStar Legends brings nothing new to the table, except new and fantastic tunes. The same great modes exist, the same use for the eyetoy exists, and the same fading grainy quality of the PS2 DVD versions of the videos exists.

If you are a SingStar fanatic, then you will have little choice but to buy this collection of thirty songs to add to the ever growing list of SingStar titles sitting on your self at the moment. Just expect the same routine with new songs and you will be pleased with the result. If you are ready for a new experience, you may want to finally upgrade to that PS3 now... you have my permission.
