Falcon Mission Disk 2

Falcon was one of the first hi-tech flight sims to feature state-of-the-art American military hardware. Its popularity was due to simple cockpit controls and the sheer depth of the gameplay. Now that depth is further increased with the release of the second mission disk.

The mission disk is booted up instead of disk one. Everything then carries on as normal until you call up the mission screen and there are twelve new flights to choose from.

The Falcon has been upgraded to include the features of the F-16C and there are also devastating new weapons to play with. The Sidewinder missile is replaced by the AMRAAM-120A, a tasty missile which you can launch 18 miles away from your target. A new anti-radiation missile is available which can knock out SAM sites quickly and easily, the ECM has been improved and the radar now has a range of 40 miles.

If Falcon is one of those games you constantly return to, then this disk is for you. The game has been neatly tweaked to include new features as well as the extra missions. However, you have to ask yourself whether that's worth 20 quid of your hard-earned cash when you could put a hefty down-payment on F-19 Stealth Fighter or F-29 Retaliator for that.
