Another welcome re-release from Superior with the combination of to racing simulation Revs and Revs 4 Tracks in one package; again, like Elite, with a rather cut down version of the original documentation.

This game, however, has got new code in it: apart from the obvious new circuit option screen, there is a new keyboard layout offering 'computer aided steering' to overcome the problems many keyboard players found in the original.

Computer Aided Steering is turned on and off with SHIFT-f6 and SHIFT-f3. It operates like a third hand on the steering wheel, correcting excessive understeer or oversteer. It also makes analogue joysticks steer with the same characteristics as digital. CAS takes account of the severity of oncoming bends and the position of the car relative to the side of the track. OK, it makes it easier for non David Hunts.

Quite simply this is the ace of racing simulations with an impressive degree of control possible and, with all five circuits offered here, the best possible racing package on the market.
