Froglet ======= The Game -------- Across the road and the river to home is just a hop, skip and a jump for a froglet... or is it? First there's the traffic, which which flatten the froglet if it doesn't keep one jump ahead. Then there's the fast-flowing river, which will carry away any froglet foolish enough to skip in. Fortunately there are logs and turtles to act as hopping stones - although the turtles will dive and take you to a watery grave if you stay too long on their backs. There are flies to eat along the river, but if the froglet takes too long over a quick snack it won't have enough time to get home before dark. There are four froglets to get home, and only two minutes for each froglet, so jump to it. And when you've got that family of frogs safely home there's another family to worry about - but the traffic and river get faster! An exciting game for any number of players, with multi-coloured animated graphics and splendid sound effects. Available only for the BBC Microcomputer. Playing The Game ---------------- The aim of the game is to move your froglet across the road and the river onto one of the four green landing areas. When all four areas have froglets on them, they are cleared and you start again - but the game gets faster! You can score bonus points for skilful moves, and for catching the flies that appear over the river when you have got three froglets safely across. There is also a time limit of two minutes to get each froglet across, and you have only three lives in each game. You control your froglet with the arrow keys (left, right, up, down arrows) or by the following function keys at the top of the keyboard: f8 - Left, f9 - Right, f0 - Up, f1 - Down Loading ------- Tape: CHAIN"" (RETURN) Disc: SHIFT-BREAK
