The Sky Is Falling is a challenging game of score-building and survival.
The intrepid explorer Orangeman is having a really bad day!
Not only is the roof of the cave he is exploring collapsing, but he is being chased by a massive boulder as well!
Luckily he brought a bunch of tools with him which he can hurl at the cave roof to smash the sharp stalactites that are descending toward him.
Can you help Orangeman escape from the caves before he is squished?
You must clear all stalactites in order to progress to the next stage.
See how many caves you can survive before you are crushed by the cave roof.
Time firing your weapons carefully to hit the stalactites. Target the longest stalactites first in order to survive for longer.
Hit the red balloons to upgrade your firepower. You initially throw spanners but a more powerful pickaxe and super-powerful TNT can be collected.
TNT will clear a large area of stalactites so make sure you throw it at a densely-packed area for optimum effect.
Watch out for the bird; if hit, it will absorb the tools you throw which means you waste a shot at the stalactites.
Use a joystick plugged into port 2.
Press FIRE to start a new game.
Move the joystick up and down to select difficulty level and then press FIRE to begin the game.
During gameplay, use the FIRE buttons to launch tools at the cave roof. There are no other controls; you just use the fire button to play!
Once the game has ended, press FIRE to return to the title screen.
The tape contains the main game along with a bonus animated demo that may be loaded separately.
